CBS Squared Receives the 2017 Construction Industry Partner Award

CBS Squared received the 2017 Construction Industry Partner Award from the Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation for its outstanding customer service to Chippewa County’s contractors and business developers. Governor Scott Walker presented the award to CBS Squared, along with a Certificate of Achievement from the Office of the Governor of the State of Wisconsin, at CCEDC’s annual meeting held on May 21, 2017.

Adam Ericksen received the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Outstanding Highway Construction Project at the Annual WTBA Conference in January, 2017.

CBS Squared Welcomes New Staff Members

CBS Squared continues to grow and is expanding into new services areas. Meet some of our new staff:

Phil Johnson, PLA, Landscape Architect/Planner/Project Manager

Phil Johnson comes to CBS Squared with 40 years of experience in landscape architecture in the public and private sectors. Phil’s expertise includes master planning, site design, park design, relationship building, native plant design, grant writing, consensus building, specification writing, and sustainable maintenance design. Phil offers a broad understanding of site design issues and will be able to help our clients find creative solutions to meet their needs.

Dan Hawkins, Surveyor/Technician

Dan Hawkins has more than 16 years in the transportation and civil engineering field as a Surveyor and Engineer Technician. Dan’s previous experience includes WISDOT contracts, topographic survey, boundary survey, construction staking, transmission line survey, laser scanning, landfill and landfill capping survey, bridge and dam survey, targeting for aerial survey, targeting for ground based mobile lidar, sand mine survey, and writing NGS datasheets. For the past 7 years, Dan has been coordinating with WISDOT on finalizing the Passive Wisconsin Height Modernization network in the northeast part of the state.
